Emergency Classroom Audiovisual Support
If your A/V equipment fails during class, call 475-2551, press 1. A Front End Support tech will attempt to diagnose and fix the problem over the phone. If we can’t clear up the problem quickly, we'll dispatch a Classroom Support Technician to your classroom.

TLS: Classroom Support provides audiovisual service and support for all credit-bearing courses, including:
- Emergency support, repair or replacement
- Podium access
- Equipment setup for special events
- Equipment training
Podium Access
We provide podium access for these classrooms and auditoriums:

You must activate your ID for podium swipe access. To activate your ID, log in to isnet.rit.edu with your RIT username and password.
- Fill out all the information completely.
- You will receive a confirming e-mail when it is completed.
You will need to swipe your RIT identification card to activate the podium.
Please submit your request at least 24 hours before your class or event. If you need immediate podium access, contact the Support Desk at 475-2551, press 1.
Classroom A/V Equipment
If your classroom does not have existing equipment, we can supply it for you. Just call our front desk 475-2551, press 1, or e-mail Sherry Clark at Sherry.Clark@rit.edu.
Reservable equipment includes portable projector carts, able to display laptop, DVD and VHS.
The following reservable equipment can be picked up at our main desk, Building 5-A600 with a valid RIT ID.

- Portable Visualizers
- Projection screens (8')
Equipment/Podium Training
We can train you to use any classroom AV equipment that we supply or support. Equipment training will enable you to take care of many of the technical problems that occur in the classroom, minimizing delays and lost class time.

Technology for Special Events
Academic Technology Support provides technical support for speakers and presentations. Event support is $35 per hour and requires an account number to confirm services.
