About The Wallace Center

With innovation at its core, RIT created The Wallace Center in 2010, blending essential library, faculty development, and multi-media services. The evolution from a library to a true learning center continued with the integration of the Writing Commons and RADSCC. Also housed within TWC are The Innovative Learning Institute, ITS help desk and Java Wally’s. We are enthusiastic partners in the academic endeavor, committed to the creation and dissemination of knowledge.  With nearly 4,000 visitors each day, TWC is RIT’s place to study, learn, collaborate and connect.

Our Mission

The Wallace Center enriches the academic experience by blending library, faculty development, and event and media services, advancing information discovery, scholarship, and community engagement at RIT.

Our Vision

The Wallace Center — the physical and intellectual heart of the university — inspires curiosity, creativity, and learning across the diverse communities with whom we work. Fostering a culture of constant innovation, we believe in honoring our traditions while integrating emerging models of scholarship and learning. We are enthusiastic partners in the academic endeavor, committed to the creation and dissemination of knowledge.
