We also offer the opportunity for 1-to-1 or small group training with our staff on request. We provide training to faculty and staff on our supported technologies, as well as providing instructional design assistance on using online resources effectively.

This orientation will provide RIT Graduate Teaching Assistants with an overview of the departments and resources they will need to be successful in their positions assisting faculty in the classroom.

Orientation includes sessions on the TA’s role and responsibilities, elements of teaching fundamentals, teaching with technology, classroom management/student behaviors, library resources, academic integrity policies, and resources for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
