We also offer the opportunity for 1-to-1 or small group training with our staff on request. We provide training to faculty and staff on our supported technologies, as well as providing instructional design assistance on using online resources effectively.

This session introduces instructors to the Assignments tool in myCourses and some additional tools to support feedback.

The Assignments tool is where students make secure submissions for individual or group assignments.

Assignments supports an integration with to offer originality reporting and their online document markup tool for feedback, GradeMark.

The Rubrics tool allows you to integrate rubrics for consistent feedback for your students.

While we cover integrating Assignments with the Grades tool, we will not be covering setup and management of the Grades tool in this session. For an introduction to the Grades tool please attend one of our Getting Started with myCourses sessions.

You are welcome to bring your laptop or tablet to follow along, but this introductory session is not paced as a hands-on workshop.

Open to all RIT faculty, including adjuncts, as well as teaching assistants.
