All faculty are invited to the 3rd Annual Faculty Grants Showcase of examples highlighting grant-funded projects and kick off for this year’s grants. Faculty will learn more about the grants available from Faculty Career Development and the Office of the Provost. The goal of this showcase is to provide a sampling of what faculty have been able to accomplish with grants provided by Faculty Career Development and the Office of the Provost.  Drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole time!  Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Presenters will be listed in the fall semester.

Feedback from attendees on past Showcases:

  • Great to connect with colleagues across campus in other disciplines
  • Great networking event, in the past 2 years it has allowed me to meet new faculty, see how others are approaching mentoring, and always gets me thinking of ways to collaborate outside my college.
  • Liked the 5 minute explanations. It was good to hear what they are doing with the funds they are awarded.
  • Excellent event to make us aware of what others are doing. Many new faculty were there and it allows them to ease their apprehension by seeing successes.
  • Nice to know what the faculty are doing with the grants to support their scholarship and teaching activities. This serves as an inspiration for me to do the same in the future.
  • Good chance to touch base with colleagues and hear (and see) what others are doing.
  • Seems money is being used wisely to help with faculty research and collaboration. Good job!
