Did you know there are three ways to engage your audience? Most of us stay within the comfort zone of stimulating intellectual engagement, but we all have access to the two other techniques that are used by effective communicators!

This workshop can help us unlock those skills and use them more readily in our work across all academic disciplines. It will be taught by five academics with years of improv experience and specifically trained by the Alan Alda Institute in the use of Improv for science communication. Through the use of fun, energizing, and interactive Improv exercises, you will practice skills in a hands-on workshop to help you internalize these powerful techniques. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and come ready to engage!
