[This workshop was originally scheduled for 3/20/18.]

All full-time faculty members are invited to attend this interactive workshop where participants will investigate a salary-based case study, exploring how to shape future thinking and discussions regarding salary.

BRING YOUR LAPTOP --In this interactive session you will use your laptop!

Over the 80-minute session, we will discuss what RIT has learned from past studies regarding faculty salary and then participants will explore a salary based case study.  In the case study, we will discuss and examine helpful background information to shape future thinking and discussions regarding faculty salary, more specifically, you will:

  • Realize lessons learned from past salary studies conducted at RIT
  • Obtain salary-related information from Oracle and HR website and check accuracy
  • Understand RIT salary processes
  • Future session ideas:  prepare for a salary discussion; explore negotiation tips and other resource possibilities; and practice with peers.

Workshop facilitators are Professors Margaret Bailey (KGCOE) and Carol Marchetti (COS/Math) from the AdvanceRIT Leadership Team.

Please contact AdvanceRIT at with questions.
