Do you have research data and are unsure how to represent it visually? Are you trying to decide on a platform or tool that will best showcase your findings or integrate into a presentation or website? Do you want to feel more confident developing visual representations of your (or others’) data? Come to a workshop with RIT Library’s DHSS Librarian that will cover all of the above! The workshop will address uses and methods of data visualization in the Digital Humanities and Social Sciences field, different tools and technologies that effectively make data understood at a glance, and include a hands-on tutorial of a free software, Tableau Public.

Note: This will be an interactive technology session and will feature a demonstration of Tableau Public. Please download the free software to your device prior to the session at: https://public.tableau.com/en-us/s/
