Tableau Public is a versatile tool that allows users to create sophisticated visualizations with little data manipulation or previous experience (view a gallery of examples here). This workshop with RIT Library’s Digital Humanities and Social Sciences (DHSS) Librarian will introduce attendees to the basic functions of Tableau Public, include hands-on exercises with sample datasets, and provide time and resources for further exploration of the extensive capabilities of this program. 

This workshop is open to all members of the RIT community.

This will be an interactive technology session and will feature a demonstration of Tableau Public. Attendees should bring personal devices (laptops preferred) and download the free software prior to the session from:
