In this interactive workshop, you will engage in a practice to better support our growing and diverse student population. Faculty will reflect on how their personal and social identities have shaped their learning. Faculty will also enhance their understanding of how micro-messaging can negatively impact their students. Finally, attendees will leave with a couple of tools to address difficult learning moments in the classroom.

Light breakfast will be served from 9 to 9:30 am with the program beginning at 9:30 am.

This program is a repeat of the session held in Fall 2019.

Co-Sponsored by the Division of Diversity and Inclusion, Office of Faculty Affairs, and Faculty Career Development.

To request interpreting services, go to: http://myaccess.rit.edu/.

Light Refreshments will be provided.

The deadline to register for this event is Monday, January 20, 2020 at 12:00pm.
