Learn how to build interactive stories with Twine, a free and open source authoring tool. Though primarily used to create text-based stories, Twine can also be used effectively for storyboarding, testing logic, or extending plain text with CSS, conditional logic, variables, and JavaScript. Come to learn the basics of creating a “game” with Twine, explore how this flexible tool can adapt to your needs, and have some fun in the process! View examples of Twine stories here

This workshop is open to all members of the RIT community. Twine games are built within a user interface, and no background with coding or command line is necessary.

This will be an interactive technology session. If possible, attendees should bring personal devices. Contact Rebekah Walker with questions or if you need access to a device.

The deadline to register for this event is Monday, October 18, 2021 at 12:00pm.
