Cary Graphic Arts Collection
The Cary Graphic Arts Collection is one of the country's premier libraries on graphic communication history and practice.

The library houses major collections related to printing, type design, papermaking, bookbinding, book illustration, and calligraphy. It also features the Graphic Design Archive, which preserves the work of over forty 20th-century graphic designers working in the modernist traditions. Complementing these resources is a working collection of historical printing presses.

The Cary Collection welcomes students and researchers to examine and study its resources. The library also hosts a variety of free public exhibitions and events.
