RIT myCourses Course Shell Request

If you are missing a credit-bearing course you are assigned to teach, do not use this form to request that course. Please refer to the information in the myCourses Help and Resources wiki for information to possibly help find the course. If you still can't find the course, there are instructions at the bottom of the page on the steps to take.

We cannot create credit-bearing courses. All work must be done through proper channels in SIS and the Registrar's records by the Scheduling Officer in your college.

The requestor is responsible for ensuring the course shell remains an appropriate use of RIT resources and usage abides by RIT's Computer Code of Conduct.

Course membership must be maintained by the requestor or the users they enroll in staff roles. Academic Technology Support will not populate or maintain the Classlist of the course.

Course shells can only be requested by RIT Faculty and Staff. Course shells for student groups must be requested by the Faculty or Staff advisor for the group.

Role titles cannot be customized. The roles are related to users access and permissions in the course shell, not their role at RIT.

Course Shells requested here will not be listed under a Semester, they can be found under the "All" heading on myCourses. Semesters are reserved by the SIS integration with myCourses and are limited to credit-bearing courses in the Registrar's records.
